ABOUT PORT MARIA HIGH & PREPARATORY SCHOOLS
Port Maria High and Preparatory School is indeed a timbre of both God and man’s protection as it is located between the 3rd Battalion of the Jamaica Defense Force and God’s true church, the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Port Maria. It is driven by the Motto “With God in the Lead, We Must Succeed.” This mantra is what propels the school through difficult times to achieve the success it has. The united efforts of the administration, staff, students and the Home and School Association, combined with the aid of the Holy Spirit continue to place the school as a flagship institution in St Mary, educating the uneducated and bringing hope to countless persons who would otherwise have been lost spiritually, emotionally, physically and academically. The school is committed to the task of Seventh-day Adventist Christian Education and is blessed with a cadre of staff members who ensure that God’s mandate of educating the children and youth is a reality.
